Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Updated 7th October 2020

The First Minister gave an update today for Scotland and we are pleased to say there are no further restriction on self catering holiday homes.

The current legislation is:

One household per property (with some exceptions).

If your booking is for 2 or more households, and you are not within a support bubble, this may mean a rebooking that comply with the new rules. Please contact us by email so we may arrange a rescheduled booking, voucher or refund.

If the booking can go ahead then it should go ahead. We realise it may make it difficult for some parties but would encourage you to alter your numbers so your holiday can proceed.

The First Minister stated today:

  • Holiday accommodation will remain open and there will be no mandatory travel restrictions.
  •  'We are not insisting that people cancel any half term breaks they have planned.'
  •  However, those residing in the Central Belt (Greater Glasgow & Clyde, Lanarkshire, Ayrshire and Arran, Lothian and Forth Valley) should avoid public transport  'unless it is absolutely necessary'.
  • Moreover, those in the Central Belt are advised not to travel outside their local area and others are similarly advised not to visit they 'unless they need to'.

We will work with our guests and owners to find a solution for your holiday.
